Mission & Philosophy

Siren School District will produce successful students through collaborative partnerships with families, community members and staff while being fiscally innovative. Students will embrace diversity, feel empowered and be inspired to become citizens with integrity.

Siren School District

The Siren School District covers about 106 square miles located in Burnett County in northwestern Wisconsin. The district is composed of seven townships surrounded by area lakes and forest land. There is a blend of both manufacturing, tourism, and some gaming that supports the area financially. Siren is a small town with a population of approximately 1,554 (2020 data). Local businesses and several homes were rebuilt or renovated following a tornado in 2001. The area enjoys a rich blend of cultural diversity with the St. Croix Tribal community making up a significant portion of our school community. Siren provides students with a nice combination of academics, sports, and music.
